I took this photo in Piazza della Signoria, Florence, Italy, when I missed a train and thus had a few hours to spare. With nothing but a point and shoot that suffered from limited aperture, options were limited. By white balancing on a blue background, increased contrast was available on later conversion to black and white. Photo is a 95% crop of JPEG original.
